Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Washington County, Maine. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
