You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire The role involves: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
