Glazing fabricator • Derbyshire, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glazing fabricator in Derbyshire, England. Day-to-day duties: • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw What we are looking for: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
