Heavy equipment operator — Tangaza

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Tangaza, Sokoto State. You will work at a landfill site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures The role involves: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
