Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Washington County, Illinois. The role involves: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 6+ years on the tools preferred.
