Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Franklin County, Mississippi. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Part-time with flexible hours.
