Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Ede South, Osun State. Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Six days a week, one day off. ₦10,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
