Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Johnson County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Rotating shifts.
