Great opportunity: we are hiring a plumbing technician in Pike County, Illinois. The job is at a busy plumbing and sanitary firm. The role involves trace and clear blockages in drains, traps and gully pits; fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves; replace worn washers, seals and float valves; carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs; solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings; cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting, bending and crawling • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read basic plumbing drawings and layouts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
