Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols You will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
