Civil works labourer — Marion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Marion County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Your main tasks: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
