Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Osborne County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Rotating shifts.
