Great opportunity: steel erection rigger (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will work at a power plant. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
