Vacancy available: aluminium TIG welder (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Cass County, Texas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection The role involves: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Six days a week, one day off.
