Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Woodford County, Illinois. You will be based on a road construction project. You will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
