Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Warren County, Virginia. You will work on a building construction site. You will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 2+ years on the tools preferred.
