Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Fayette County, Alabama. You will work on a quarry floor. The role involves form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
