Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Saint Croix County, Wisconsin. The job is at an oil and gas facility. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,500 per project, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
