Great opportunity: press setter operator (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Van Zandt County, Texas. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Your main tasks: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Six days a week, one day off.
