Turning centre operator wanted in Kodiak Island Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T You will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; load and index turning tools in the turret; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles.
