Immediate opening: automotive refinish painter (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Day-to-day duties: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
