Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in McLean County, Illinois. The role involves fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Pay around $6,500 per project, based on your experience.
