Split AC fitter • Franklin County, New York

Now hiring: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Franklin County, New York. You will work at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Your main tasks: • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing You should have: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Six days a week, one day off.
