Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in City of Hampton, Virginia. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On the job you will handle: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Full-time with occasional weekends.
