Urgent requirement: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. Requirements: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement Your main tasks: • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection 6+ years on the tools preferred.
