Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Nnewi South, Anambra State. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
