Fusing press operator • Bwari, Federal Capital Territory

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory. The role involves set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time, day shift.
