We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Meals and transport allowance provided.
