Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto painter in Boyle County, Kentucky. The job is in a spray booth. The role involves: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters Ideal candidate: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
