Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Hale County, Texas. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
