Foundry operative wanted in Houston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Houston County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Full-time with occasional weekends.
