Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Osceola County, Iowa. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
