Precision welder • Platte County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Platte County, Nebraska. The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred.
