Ladle pourer wanted in Fayette County

Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Fayette County, Texas. On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
