Aluminium tig welder — Clark County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Clark County, Illinois. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
