QC inspector — Kodiak Island Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a QC inspector in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
