Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in DeKalb County, Missouri. The job is at a busy press shop. You will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
