Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Camden County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
