You should have: • Own set of hand tools • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts The role involves: • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid • Carry out oil and filter changes • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
