Bakery assistant • Menominee County, Wisconsin

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Menominee County, Wisconsin. You will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
