Bar bender and fixer • Yell County, Arkansas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Yell County, Arkansas. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 4+ years on the tools preferred.
