Now hiring: we are hiring a vehicle technician in North Tyneside, England. You will be based in a roadside repair garage. What we are looking for: • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear • Carry out oil and filter changes • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Service and replace timing belts and chains We offer £3,700 per project plus benefits.
