Cnc setter-operator wanted in District of Rutland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in District of Rutland, England. Day to day you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
