Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Clarke County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
