Heavy equipment operator • San Miguel County, New Mexico

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in San Miguel County, New Mexico. You will be based at a road-building project. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance You will check for underground cables and services before digging; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
