Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Cumberland County, Virginia. The role involves: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
