Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Gonzales County, Texas. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 3+ years on the tools preferred.
