Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Pickens County, South Carolina. You will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
