Industrial sewing operator wanted in Hooker County

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Hooker County, Nebraska. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 1+ years on the tools preferred.
