Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium and glass installer in Kankakee County, Illinois. The role involves apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; measure window and door openings and order glass to size. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
